About the author
Sudabeh Mohafez has lived in Tehran, Berlin and Lisbon and has, as for now, chosen Stuttgart as her homecity. She studied music, English literature and pedagogy and has been a part of several non-governmental organizations doing work in violence prevention issues. She has received several grants and literary prices. She also was the poetics lecturer for the summer term at the UAS Wiesbaden (2007) and was nominated for the Bachmannpreis in 2008.
Alongside her work as a writer she teaches literary writing.
In Febuary 2010 her new novel "brennt" will be published at DuMont. |
